When purchasing a property, the assistance of an experienced surveyor is essential as they will be able to complete a thorough assessment of the property in question, bringing to light any major or immediate defects which may need attention.
Hocking Associates was established in 1987 and since then we have built a stunning reputation for detailed reports and surveys produced solely for the benefit of our client. With surveys of over 17000 properties under the belts of our expert team, we have conducted reports on properties in a variety of styles and sizes and operate across the whole of Cornwall, including the Carbis Bay area.
About Carbis Bay
Carbis Bay has gained extensive popularity as a holiday resort, its ideal location famous for the unusual light associated with St Ives Bay, which reaches out to Godevry Lighthouse. The nearby fishing town of St Ives boasts a number of popular sandy surfing beaches. The property market throughout Carbis Bay offers a range of different styles, including guest houses and hotels, with cottages remaining a popular choice as holiday let properties. Many of these houses have been modified for more modern living, but still provide an idealistic classical holiday cottage atmosphere. On clear days, you can see the Isles of Scilly from Carbis Bay.
Services We Provide
Hocking Associates offer two main services; a Building Condition Survey (not to be confused with the RICS Condition Report) and a Full Building Survey, although we do provide a number of additional property services for clients throughout Carbis Bay and further afield where required. We draw from a wealth of essential experiences in order to provide professional and reliable advice to all our clients.
Building Condition Survey (not to be confused with the RICS Condition Report) – One of our most popular forms of survey, it consists of a detailed look at all visible and accessible elements of the property. A Building Condition Survey looks at the exterior and interior of a property, providing advice on any major or immediate defects found. Advice may also be given as to any works required to resolve these issues.
Full Building Survey – A fully comprehensive, more detailed survey than the Building Condition Survey. This provides more technical information regarding the property in question.
